Hope you all had a great Xmas! Mine was good. I have no idea when I'm going to blog like a regular blogger does...well, is there such a thing as a regular blogger? I think you know what I mean. It's so strange though to go from 80 posts last December to less than 10 this December. I just have to ask myself "What in the world was I writing about?" Because now I'm soooooooo....well, at a loss for words. Yet I still FaceBook...most of you know that you can find me there at some point in the day. Gotta run....like the white rabbit! Ciao!~

Quick Notes about Etsy and Art Shows I'll be in

Hi everyone.

Just a quick note about my ETSY shop, Looking Glass Gallery. I am having an XMAS/End of 2009 Sale. Everything is either 17 or 19 dollars at the moment, with the exception of one set of dolls (shipping is not included, sorry). I am unsure if I want to continue having an ETSY shop...have yet to make a sale and I'm not getting much traffic.

I heard of another "handmade art" website and I may re-open LGG there. I guess I'll see what happens. Plus I'm not really selling (or attempting to sell) the kind of art I REALLY make there. You know what I mean...canvas, mirror stuff, etc... I'm basically trying to sell what I can easily ship...as it's not so easy to ship canvas and delicate things with glass or mirror that I do....so my ART website is uncertain at the moment. But I'll keep you all updated for sure!

Some cool things happening with me lately: 1) I'm going to have an art piece in a local art (cult film inspired) show called Bad Channels on January 8th. I did a piece called "Cellar Door" inspired by one of my fave films, Donnie Darko. Should be a lot of fun. 2) There's an event taking place New Years Eve through the 2nd of January 2010 called Wonderland. I talked about it in the spring on here but was unable to go. So it's cool that it's happening again AND....ready....???....one (or more) of my pieces will be in the show. Yay! They definitely accepted one...they may select another. So this is wonderful news for me....as you all know how much I LOVE Wonderland and Alice. So I'm also very excited about that.

What Boo McPig Has Been Up To

• Hi everyone. It's been a long long time since I talked about my pig Boo aka: Sullivan McPig's distant cousin. Actually I don't think I've done his previous posts here. Think he was only on my other (now defunct) blog For the Love of Goth. Sooooo....he's going to pop up here from time to time to say what he's been up to. So I'll let him tell you that now. Hope you enjoy his story!~

Greetings curious friends of my owner Eve! My name is Boo McPig. And a special "Hello" to my overseas cousin Sullivan McPig. :)

Well, I've been a very busy pig lately. I've been helping Eve out with Xmas things like shopping and writing out xmas cards. Next thing we need to do is decorate the house a little as I love all the holidays, especially Halloween and Xmas.

We also got a new housemate named Pen. He's a blue skeleton creature. He said it was too cold this year up at the North Pole and wanted to enjoy his winter with us. He's a good friend of Sad Boy's...but at the moment Sad Boy is very busy (he even locked himself in a small cabinet!) to write some "dark" poetry. Well, that's what he told me. I hope he comes out for Xmas atleast!

Also, Eve let me order my Xmas gift early

(mainly because she knows my gift will sell out fast)...

BUT she said I can't open it until Xmas day. Oinks!

The suspense is terrible...but Eve hides it from me so I don't stare at it all day.

Lastly, I've been watching over Eve because she hasn't been feeling well. Her boyfriend (Pumpkin) isn't home during the day so I gotta be the pig-around-the-house. ;) I make sure she follows the doctor's orders and drinks plenty of fluids, rests, and doesn't go outside much. She's been pretty good and I even told her she can still have her Starbucks drink (pictured next to me) if she sticks to the doctor's orders. LOL...oink oink!

That's about all that's been happening with me. I am very excited for Xmas and hope my cousin Sullivan and his owner enjoy the gifts Eve and I picked out for them this holiday. It was a lot of fun putting their package together! I just want to say "Miss You Cousin Sullivan especially during the holidays!"

A scratch off lotto ticket that was out during Halloween time. I won the first 3 times I bought a ticket...so I kept buying 'em...and probably won only 2 more times. Hmm...probably bought 10-12 of 'em...cuz they were fun...and cuz I thought I'd win the BIG prize-31, 000 dollars, woooo!

Happy 1 Year Blogoversary to ME!

• Hi ya. Today marks my 1 year Blogoversary. Woweeee, only a year?...has felt like more for some reason. And not that THAT is a bad thing. ;) Don't you love the cake pic I found above...ooooo, I definitely would love to have a cake like that around...even just to stare at because it's so awesome! ^_^

• Anyways, I haven't been around much to blog (have you noticed?)...cuz things have been a little hectic. I'm hoping I can write more (because of course I want to!) once I'm on a lil' break from work at the end of the month. I've missed my bloggy friends, though I'm happy some of you are on FaceBook. That is SO great!

• Well, just wanted to say HI and BIG THANKS for following my blog, commenting on the things I show you through my Looking-Glass, and for just being there. You are some great friends & followers. Hope we can stay in touch for a while through here. And jeez, blogging has definitely helped me in so many ways. Can't think of NOT having my blog at this point! • Hi friends. How are you? I'm good. Of course I haven't forgotten about my blog or YOU, just been a bit busy. So just wanted to say hope you enjoy your holiday and if you have time off (yay, that I do, and I need it!) enjoy that as well. Will any of you be going out on Black Friday for any BIG sales (so so early in the morning)? Jeez, I've seen that some sales start as early as 3 AM, yikes! I usually like to go later in the afternoon/evening...if I do go...which is a maybe.

• After working 3 Black Friday's at Toys R Us, there's nooooo way I would go out...unless maybe Dunnys were half off or something awesome like that, lol. Ok, my CD has ended so I should get going too. I really do miss you my dear bloggy friends...and I give thanks to you today for all your sweet comments, thoughtful concern, and BLOG love year round! You all rock, but you know that already. ;)

Cellar Door (for cult film art show)

I made this (Cellar Door) for an upcoming art show which is all about cult films. This piece was inspired from one of my fave films, Donnie Darko. I still have to put hinges on the door but other than that, it's finished. Sooo, what does "Cellar Door" mean? Well, I guess it's anyone's guess...and this is my interpretation of it. Hope you dig it! Take care.~

What you see when you open Cellar Door. Yesssss....it's a collage of Frank & Donnie. And many of you know I love collages so it wasn't a hard decision to make. Plus some of my fave quotes from the film too!

Yes, the back is bigger than the front but it's ok. I want to put the door kinda in the middle of the back (aka: the collage). I'll post a pic of the finished piece when the time comes. :)

The 3 Alice posters combined, SWEET!!!

Yup all three posters connect to make one big (gorgeous) poster/banner. I am sooooo going to get this when it comes out...and I would assume they will sell the whole image above rather than three separate posters. Yet either way, I want it! And many of you know that I've been excited for this film for a long long time. So to see this is truly wonderful! :) I tried putting this banner as big as possible but it's still coming up not-so-big...but I if you click on it, it'll get bigger.
